The largest and busiest shopping centre in Italy is offering a unique opportunity: to shop among archaeological displays and exhibits.
For twelve years now, the capital’s residents have chosen the Porta di Roma shopping gallery as the ideal place to spend their free time and fulfil their desires.
From clothing to culinary delights, the shops offer a wide selection. It’s no coincidence that you’ll find the biggest retail brands like Ikea, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Apple, Pellizzari, H&M, Nike, Lego and Michael Kors, as well as a 14-screen UCI multiplex cinema. The last year has seen stores open up of the calibre of Victoria’s Secret, with the only store in Italy offering the complete range of products, Bellavia, Snipes, Xiaomi, Dyson Demo Store and Tiger, helping confirm Porta di Roma’s position as the largest shopping centre in Italy and one of the most modern in Europe.
Over the years, Porta di Roma has also become the go-to venue for events. At the beginning of 2019, the first Italian exhibition space set up in a shopping centre was inaugurated in the Gallery. “Fidenae at the Porta di Roma” is a gift from Porta di Roma’s management to the city. The exhibits on display come from various excavations conducted in the area between Via delle Vigne Nuove, the Raccordo Anulare ring road, the Colle Salario district and the Viadotto dei Presidenti.
