Panerai’s first Roman boutique, the Florentine high quality sports watch brand, lands at number 130 Via del Babuino, a prestigious shopping thoroughfare in the heart of the capital.
For the occasion, the brand launches a special edition of the Luminor Marina – 44 mm, the most iconic of Panerai’s watches, made in an edition of only 130 pieces, with a clear reference to the number of the boutique. Several details are inspired by the Eternal City, such as the engraving on the back of the Spanish Steps leading to the church of Trinità dei Monti, and the red and yellow sewing on the strap inspired by the colours of the city’s crest.
The new Panerai boutique is spread over 50 square metres and overlooks the renowned Roman street with four display windows. Great attention was paid to the choice of precious materials such as “calacatta luccicoso” marble from Tuscany, burnished brass, bronze, durmast oak and the special reeded glass, undulating and transparent. These are all clear references to the world of the sea and the glorious past of the brand whose roots are embedded in the history of the Italian Navy.
