Il Chiostro del Bramante opens its doors to the exhibition “Dream. Art meets dreams”, a fascinating, dreamlike journey among desires and illusions.
Fantasy, fear and desires are the ingredients that animate our dreams and they also guide us in the exhibition “Dream. Art meets dreams”, conceived and curated by Danilo Eccher.
An incredible multi-sensory journey allows us to discover the «vast and deep territories of the soul», states the curator, twenty artists, including Mario Merz, Giovanni Anselmo, Anish Kapoor, James Turrell, Bill Viola, Luigi Ontani and Anselm Kiefer, tell of their dreams, made up of joys, fears and weaknesses. They are works with a visionary character in an immersive space, made up of lights and shadows, interactive and site-specific installations, which will allow the viewer to dream with his eyes open.
The route through the exhibition will be accompanied by the evocative words of the author and screenwriter, Ivan Cotroneo, author of fourteen unpublished stories, inspired by the works of the protagonists of “Dream” and interpreted by Italian actors, including Alessandro Preziosi and Cristiana Capotondi.
